Michael Carr Architect Pty. Ltd. is an architecture practice established by Michael in 2006. As a proudly family run company, we combine the agility and authentity of a close-knit team with the resources, expertise and reach of a large practice. We blend decades of shared experience, personal passion, and close collaboration to create truly exciting project outcomes.
We are a Melbourne based firm, servicing a clients throughout Australia and New Zealand. Our architects work collaboratively across disciplines, delivering projects that range from commercial developments, retail precincts and community spaces.
We seek a collaborative relationship with our clients to develop a clear understanding of their brief and requirements - always with care, dedication, and attention to detail that comes from decades of experience. ​​

OUR LEADERSHIP
The company is led by Principal Michael Carr. Michael has more than 40 years experience as a registered architect, consolidating his practice in 2006 to start MCA as sole practitioner.
Michael's daughter Philippa has over 15 years experience working both in Australia and internationally. Upon returning to Australia in 2016 she joined MCA, becoming a director in 2019.
