ABOUT
The architectural practice Michael Carr Architect Pty. Ltd. was established in November 2006. We have a wide range of clients and enjoy a wide variety of projects, generally in the commercial, industrial, retail and education sectors, with selected public, residential and multi-residential projects.
We enjoy the challenge of unique projects.
We offer our clients a full range of architectural services ranging from the preliminary design and town planning applications, the construction documentation, services coordination and contract administration to project completion.
The services we provide range from complete new developments to small and urgent projects. We also have completed national roll-out projects, 3D visualisations, concept designs, ESD and other unusual jobs that our clients have requested.
We consider ourselves to be a small practice where our clients can be in contact with our directors and know they will get prompt service and help in a crisis!
OUR TEAM
The company is led by Principle Michael Carr. Michael has more than 30 years experience as a registered architect, consolidating his practice in 2006 to start MCA as sole practitioner. After working for a year in Paris, Philippa Carr returned to Australia and joined MCA in 2016. Philippa became director in 2019 after becoming registered in 2018. Philippa and Michael are focused on client liaison, conceptual design and working with a talented group of staff on a wide range of projects.
